If you have established skills in all the Progressive levels, Wednesday evenings are for You! Sep, Oct, Nov, we’ll be offering classes on specific topics to elevate your WCS, with lots of dancing. We’ll post these events soon with details.
Save Sunday evenings in September, October and November for progressive classes for Beginners and Improvers. These will be in 4-week blocks. If you already know some WCS, you might want to take these as a refresher, or try the other role!
We’ll be collaborating with DalkingsSwing to offer a monthly socials for Blues and WCS dancers. These have been successful in the past, and we hope you’ll join us in Sept, Oct, and Nov. Watch for details when we post the events!
Our instructors have over 20 years of experience and have competed at various levels in dance competitions.

Westie-1 classes on Apr 7, 14, 21, 28th, 2024 for Beginners; those wanting a Refresher; or experienced dancers trying the other role (Lead /Follow).
Location & Time: 3380 Barnstead Lane (St. Andrews Community Centre), 6-7pm, including a practice 7-7:30.
$45 per person, no partner necessary. Although the space is larger, please note that Follow spaces may be waitlisted at some point. We aim to keep the class somewhat balanced – So don’t delay in registering! OR consider taking the class as a Lead!
Singles and couples are welcome to join, and be aware that we use partner rotation throughout the class, following the culture of improvisation in the greater West Coast Swing community.

Michael and his assistant will cover the fundamentals of West Coast Swing, including Rhythm, Connection, Stretch, Compression, and how it all works to do Push Breaks, Side Passes, and Whips.

Our Monthly WCS Social Dance only $5

Starts with a mini-lesson of the basics- so all levels & first-timers are welcome!
Social dancing follows with West-Coastable songs – top-40 R&B, Blues, a bit of everything! Appropriate for all levels!

7:00 – 8:00pm there will be beginner-friendly classes in Blues and West Coast Swing to get you ready to dance!
Dancing: 8:00 – 10:00pm – Gaby will be deejaying a mixture of Blues and West Coast Swing songs
