CLASS SERIES
ABOUT BEGINNER CLASSES
For those dancers who’ve mastered the basics, these progressive classes help you improve technique, learn more challenging patterns and add musicality.
Over a multi-week series and in specially-focused classes, we’ll help you identify areas for improvement, introduce concepts to vary your dancing, and focus on skill-building exercises.
SERIES: Musicality with Michael
In every song, you can add style to your dance by what’s happening in the lyrics, rhythm and instruments. This series will help you identify where and how you like to place musicality in your dances, and choose movements you enjoy.
SERIES: Redirects
Add greater style to your usual patterns with redirect movements! This Improver-level series will infuse your side passes, whips, and tucks with more fun.
PRACTICES: Improver-level feedback
Get support for what you’re working on from fellow dancers and our instructors. Practices build confidence and skill through feedback, so come prepared to seek help with a couple of things you want to work on.
These practice dates are for those who are comfortable with dancing basic patterns (passes, push break, tucks and whips) through a song.
